Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a swiftly advancing branch of engineering with new ideas emerging every other second. From cellular phones to fiber optics and remote sensing, there are exciting avenues to explore and create. The Electrical & Electronics Engineering course gives ample job opportunities in electrical, electronics, and software companies. It also gives excellent opportunities for research and development, as from time to time customers need new devices to support them in daily life.
The department offers a full-time Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The department has well established Basic & advanced Electrical, Electronics, Digital Electronics, Analog communications, Microprocessor, Microcontroller, VHDL & Simulation, Fiber Optics, Digital Communications, Embedded Laboratories, and Electrical Laboratories.
Electrical & Electronics engineering is the utilization of science and mathematics applied
to practical problems in the field of communications and electronics. Electronics and communication engineers engage in research, design, development and testing of the electronic equipment used in various communications systems. It is due to ECE engineers that we enjoy modern communication devices such as cellular telephones, radios and television.

After completion of the course, B. Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering graduates will have an ability to:
Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, Engineering fundamentals, and Electronics and Communication Engineering to the solution of complex Engineering problems.
Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex Engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and Engineering sciences.
Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex Engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental
Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering is the branch that deals with designing and testing circuits that use the electromagnetic properties of electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, and transistors to achieve a particular functionality. The theoretical, together with the practical content of the course provides a thorough knowledge of the core concepts relating to the transmission of signals along with the globe.
Integrated Circuit Lab
Laying a strong foundation for electronic engineers, this lab makes the students understand the fundamentals of Digital Electronics. The Integrated Circuits Lab is where our students gain practical experience in the use of basic hardware components. Through experiments, students become familiar with gates, multiplexers, decoders, flip-flops, counters, registers and displays.
Communication Engineering Lab
Analog Circuit Lab
This lab is intended to explore the properties of analog circuits, including frequency response, gain, and aspects of analog circuit realization. The lab is also equipped with CROs, power supplies, measuring meters and linear ICs to study the operation principles of operational Amplifiers and other linear ICs. All analog and digital IC related experiments can be carried out. The testers for IC are available.
Highly sophisticated lab is made available for students and faculty to carryout academic and research works. This lab is also a platform for students and faculty to develop their software skills. Laboratory is very well equipped with soft computing tools: Micro SIM Software, MATLAB etc.
